Introduction

These chewy cookies are simple, perfectly sweet, and pair well with a tall glass of milk. They're easily customizable, too—add chocolate chips, raisins, nuts or any other favorite mix-ins! Ingredients

    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    1/4 cup margarine
    2 Tbsp cocoa
    3 cups quick cooking oats
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1 tso vanilla extract

Directions

1. Combine sugar, milk, margarine, and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to boil.
2. Let the mixture boil for 1 minute, remove from heat.
3. Add the remaining ingredients, stir and mix well.
4. Drop by teaspoons on wax paper covered cookie sheet.
5. Let cookies harden in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until solid.

Makes 24 cookies.
