    Bad
Terrible terrible terrible. I dont even want to eat it now that I've made it. I followed the recipe exactly and it isnt good at all. It came out WAY too watery and bland. The recipe calls for way too much chicken broth and too much sour cream. It came out like soup consistency. - 2/1/13

I thought it needed a little more flavor as well but overall a great recipe. - 7/29/12

Great reciepe, very easy (after prep done), I added Tomotoe Paste, like the other reviews. Think it needed a little more flavour though, so next time will add more garlic and paprika. - 1/10/12

I had never heard of chicken paprikash, but am always looking for a good crockpot recipe and the reviews were so great I had to try it.
I also added the tomato paste and a little extra flour, delishious!!

AHH!!! There's NO red pepper or carrots in chicken paprikas!! My poor mother would faint! You use sweet banana peppers. I always substitue with green peppers as sweet banana peppers are hard to find where I am. Otherwise, this recipe is ok. - 12/17/11

    Incredible!
I added tomato paste as others suggested and used regular paprika because I couldn't find Hungarian. It was still wonderful! I might reduce the amount of broth next time to thicken the sauce a little but I will definitely make again! - 5/24/11

I made this one night for my friends and I. Let's just say that there were no leftovers, and all four of my friends walked out with copies of the recipe. - 10/26/10

The meat was very tender. Hubby liked it "for a change." We'll be making it again, but not every month. It was good, but not as good a paprika flavor as I've had before. I used a new can of Hungarian paprika, but maybe it was not as flavorful as what I previously used. - 9/12/10

I make this all the time just on the stove top so I can't wait to try it in the crock pot! The only thing I do differently is add one small can of tomato paste. This may help thicken it up for you chefsophi, and it adds licopene! ;) It is yummmy! - 8/20/09

It was good and had a nice taste, but the sauce was too thin for my taste, even after using flour to thicken. Husband loved it, but just not my taste. - 11/7/07

Chicken was nice and tender. Best part was you just dump the ingredients in the crock pot and when you come home from work you are greeted with a mouth-watering aroma. - 9/28/07
