Ingredients

    16 bag coleslaw mix
    3 large carrots, shredded
    1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1/2 cup hoisin sauce
    3 cloves of garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp soy sauce
    1 Tbsp cornstarch.

Directions

Mix coleslaw mix and carrots in the bottom of crockpot. Top with thinly sliced chicken.

Mix hoisin sauce, garlic, soy sauce and cornstarch. Pour half over crock pot. Cook on low 4-5 hours. Pour rest of hoisin-soy mix on top and mix up.

    I made this using a combo of broccoli slaw and cabbage slaw. I also used about a pound and a half of chicken and cooked on low for four hours and it didn't dry out. It was very good! - 8/23/09

    Tasty, but the chicken was dry. I'm going to try thighs next time. Serving size is also small but that's not necessarily bad (a double portion is only 400cal!) - 8/21/09

    This was delicious and so simple! My husband LOVES pasta but agrees with me that we can now use the slaw/carrot mixture in place of spaghetti. The store was out of coleslaw, so I used broccoli slaw, but it still tasted great. And if you like heat, Sriracha is a nice addition to this great dish! - 2/14/12

    made this and to be honest it was terrible. Maybe i used too much hoison but it was way too salty and the cabbage pretty much melted into a mush! - 10/18/09
