Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

1 lb. 93% lean ground turkey
    1/4 c bread crumbs, plain
    1/2 c feta cheese, crumbled
    1 egg white
    1 T mint, fresh, chopped
    1 t oregano, dried
    1/4 t black pepper
    Cooking spray

Tips

Top with additional feta and arugula.

Directions

Mix all ingredients until just combined. Overworking the mixture can result in tough burgers. Heat a non-stick skillet to medium low heat. Divide the meat mixture into 4 round balls. Flatten the burgers with your hand and press your thumb in the center of each burger to keep the meat from rising too high as it cooks. Spray skillet. Cook the burgers about 5-6 minutes per side, flipping only once, until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Excellent with generous portions. Omitted the mint. Served in whole wheat pita with a slice of onion, greens, and some cucumber/garlic/cumin plain yogurt. Filling, tasty, and satisfying. Will make extra and freeze next time. - 11/12/12

This tasted awesome. I have been making Turkey Burgers with pureed vegetables and Worsh sauce. This is a grand change of pace, and has wonderful flavor. It will be added to my weekly food rotation. Great to Freeze the patties, and cook for lunch. - 7/22/11

    Incredible!
This burger is incredibly easy to make and delicious. The feta adds a slightly salty tang and the mint is subtly refreshing, but not overpowering. I put some tzatziki to the inside of a mini whole wheat pita and threw in some sliced cucumbers and tomatoes with the burger. Absolutely delicious! - 7/5/11

These were very good. Even my 16 yr old nephew liked the. I used 97% turkey breast (that was what I had on hand), reduced the fat even more and they were still moist! Added a dab of mint jelly on top! Will definitely make again! - 6/26/11
