Introduction

These creamy, bite-size desserts are made using ice cube trays! These creamy, bite-size desserts are made using ice cube trays!
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    * 3/4 cup Cool Whip Free
    * 5 tbsp. fat-free cream cheese; softened
    * 1 tbsp. SPLENDA, Granular
    * 10 tsp. HERSHEY'S Sugar Free Syrup

Directions

* Using a fork, vigorously mix Cool Whip, cream cheese and Splenda until smooth and well blended.
* Evenly distribute mixture into 10 sections of an ice cube tray. Tap tray firmly on the counter a few times to get mixture to settle flat. Next, top each with a teaspoon of chocolate syrup. Tap tray again to settle.
* Place tray in freezer until Bites are solid -- at least 2 hours. Once frozen, Cheesecake Bites should pop out easily (if not, run the bottom of the tray under the faucet for a few seconds to loosen them).

    I made these and followed the directions exact but my chocolate syrup did not freeze it was a mess. The cheesecake part froze and tasted great but the sauce on top made it difficult to get out of the tray and I had to eat it with a spoon. Not sure if I'd make again. - 2/12/11

    These were delicious!! I didn't add the chocolate as my hubby doesn't care for it. Next time, I want to try some different mix ins! Suggestions - peanut butter, chocolate shavings, frozen fruit, graham cracker crumbles, chocolate chips, cocoa, etc. Can't wait to make again! - 2/16/11

    I haven't made them yet--but I think I'd put off adding the chocolate sauce as I'm not always a fan. I figure, it can be added as it's served. I'd also rather use Truvia than Splenda. Splenda has a chemical taste to me. - 6/23/14

    You can get natural frozen whipped topping at Trader Joes and Whole Foods. it works really well in any application. I would also use stevia as the sweetner as well. - 9/6/13

    Don't use the chocolate syrup. Not worth the hassle. Just melt a bit of chocolate and put a drop or 2 on each cube. Still less than 40 cals and a lot nicer to work with. - 6/19/18

    YEAH, I HAVE ALREADY SUBSTITUTED COOL WHIP FOR MY USE-TO-BE DESSERT OF ICE CREAM. SO THIS IS PERFECT. WILL NOT PUT CHOCOLATE ON TOP UNTIL SERVING THOUGH!! MAYBE NOT THEN, MAYBE STRAWBERRY SLICES!!! - 6/20/17

    Incredible!
    1) I don't like chocolate, HOWEVER IF I MOST,
    2) I would use a shell topping. That's a frozen dessert topping that solidifies on contact with the cold. Also it comes in at least 5 flavors.

    Awesome treat. Be sure to add chocolate after getting out of the freezer not before as the syrup doesn't freeze. Melting wafers do but will add a few more calories. - 6/20/17

    This is way kool and so nice for Valentine's Day and Christmas. I have a cheese cake lover in the family, who's very critical and this passed her "test"! Too easy to make and a big hit. I also tried drizzling strawberry syrup instead of the chocolate on a few. A keeper! I like the graham cracker,too - 6/19/17

    I plan on trying this recipe, will use regular sugar,cream cheese and extra dark chocolate. This will increase the calorie count, but my doctor doesn't want me to use any sugar free products. even though I am diabetic, I will let every one know how this turns out. - 6/19/16

    Great for a fast easy dessert or sweet snack. I recommend using ramikins instead of the ice cube trays (I have cheap ice cube trays). Also, I didn't like the sugar free chocolate syrup with the cheesecake. It tasted bitter in comparison. All that being said, I will remake these definitely when I'm c - 9/7/15
