Ingredients

    Filling
    1 lb. of fried hamburger (well drained)
    1 can of Vegetable beef soup

    Pocket
    3 cups of white flour
    3 tbsp of baking powder (the calculator would not work to enter this)
    1 tsp of salt

    1 1/3 cup milk (use of power milk best, otherwise heat milk)

Directions

Fry hamburger and drain well. Mix with one can of well drained vegetable soup. Set aside.

Heat cast iron pan with @ 1 1/2" of canola oil (for health, for flavor us crisco).
While the oil heats: Mix flour, baking powder, salt make a well and add heated milk, may need more. Make a soft dough, do not over kneed.

Roll out flat, cut into 12" circles, cut in half add some meat mixture, fold in half and pinch closed.
You should get @ 10 servings, all depends on how thin you roll out your dough.

Fry in oil until browned and floating, flip and fry the other side. Drain well. Eat and enjoy.

    anyone have any suggestions for a different soup to use in this? it sounds & looks good but i'm allergic to onions so i can't do the veg soup. - 3/31/10
