Introduction
Got this recipe from another Spark Subscriber but found it to be bland. This is my version with a lot more spices but it was not hot. I got 8 servings out of this but I fed 4 men and one tween and two woman with one serving left over for lunch next day. The boys had bigger helpings. Ingredients

36 Oz of Lean Ground Beef
2 small Onions
1 can Great Value Petite Diced Tomato (No Salt added)
2 cups Frozen Peas
3 cups of Diced Sweet Potato (Small to lessen cooking time 1 inch by 1 inch approx).
1 teaspoon Each of the following Spices:- Cinnamon, Turmeric, Garam Masala, Salt, Black Pepper, Corriander and Chilli Powder.
2 ml (Half a teaspoon) each of Ground Cumin and Cardamom.
2 Tablespoon Fennel Seeds
1/2 Cup of Golden Raisins (Sun Maid)
1 Cup of water.
Directions
Add a 1/4 cup of water to the saucepan and add the onions cook till translucent. Add the mince and cook till the meat is cooked through. Add the rest of the water and the sweet potatoes and cook for about 15 - 20 minutes. Add all the other vegetables and the seasonings. You may need to add a little more water if it is too dry and the vegetables are not yet cooked but not too much. Cook for another 25 minutes or so. You may serve the food as soon as the sweet potatoes are cooked. Serve over Brown Rice.
