Introduction
These use no Splenda; make 12 big, dense muffins. I add protein powder so these stay with you all morning/several hours. Super yummy. They'll never know they're Healthy! Ingredients

1/4 c. softened, salted butter
1 egg, large
1/3 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla (Watkins, if you can find it)
1/4 c. br. sugar, packed (canadian, again, if you can find it)
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. protein powder (Vanilla is good)
2 T. Milled flaxseed
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. gr. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. gr. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. white choc chips (ghiradelli, my fav)
1/3 c. dark choc chips
2 C. fresh blackberries (could substitute any dense, seedy berry)
Directions
Bake at 325 deg for aprx. 45 min. Don't overbake.
Use paper cup liners; spray? for ease of removal.
Directions: Mix wet ingredients minus the water, then add spices, soda, salt, flaxseed, protein powder. Alternate water and flour, then add choc. chips. Mix berries in by hand at end. Spoon into 12 muffin tins (Lined, optional).
