Introduction
My mom use to make this when I was little. Now that I'm getting better at cooking with Rice Flour I decided to try it. The family (including both kids) loved it. Ingredients
-
4 lb ground beef
2 eggs
ketchup
worchestire sauce
for Gravy:
Rice Flour
GF beef bullion - I use the Goya selection (use 1 package)
butter
Directions
put all patty ingrediants in bowl - mix together
pat out small patties so you have about 20 of them. I usually freeze 1/2 and make again later
cook patties on stove until almost done and brown on both sides
remove patties from frying pan. leave in any grease, drippings, etc. Add butter if you need more grease in pan. Add flour and mix until all butter or grease is absorbed. Slowly add water, continuing add as it thickens, until gravy is desired consistency. I cook gravy about 15 minutes adding water and stirring as the rice flour does not mix as well as regular flour. Add back patties, cover and let cook about 20 to 30 minutes. Sometimes I bring to boil, remove from heat and cover for about 20 minutes.
Serve with rice or mashed pototes - put gravy over these - YUM~!
