Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1/2 cup hot water
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 stick butter( cut up)
    2 eggs
    2 t salt
    1/2 cup sugar
    4 cup flour
    1 pkg yeast
    1/3 cup raisins/ craising optional

Directions

Place all ingredients( except raisins) in bread machine.
Turn on Dough setting
When dough is ready, knead gently for a minute( add raisins here) place in 2 greased loaf pans.
Let rise until double
brush top with beaten egg wash
bake 350 for 50 min.

    Incredible!
    Made this and substituted milk for the water. I heated the mild to about 110. Melted the butter in the milk. The result was outstanding and all guests could not stop raving about it. - 4/8/12
