Ingredients

    granny smith apples
    cinnamon
    3/4 cup splenda
    1/4 cup whole grain flour
    2 t brown sugar
    2 t margarine
    pie crust, ready to bake

Directions

Core, peel and slice apples. Layer half the apples in unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle mixture of splenda, cinnamon, corn starch over 1st layer. Layer rest of the apples, sprinkle mixture again using all of it. Pat margarine around the top of the mound of apples. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with brown sugar, flour and melted margarine. Bake another 30 minutes.

    This turned out pretty good, although I wasn't sure how many apples, or how much corn starch, cinnamon and margarine to use. Also there was no info on the oven temperature. I ended up winging it and it was okay! - 11/29/07
