Introduction
Crock Pot recipe from HG. I changed it up a bit according to what I had on hand. I am assuming that the serving size will still be the same, but I will let you guys know if it changes. I know it is going to be delicious! :) Crock Pot recipe from HG. I changed it up a bit according to what I had on hand. Ingredients
-
1 lb 5 oz Sanderson Farms Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
1/2 Cup Kraft Original BBQ Sauce
4 Tsp Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1 Can Hunts Tomato Sauce
About 3 servings or 2.25 Tsp of Kroger's BBQ seasoning
Directions
Mix BBQ sauce, Brown Sugar, and Tomato Sauce together in the crock pot
Rub or sprinkle 2 servings of the seasoning on the chicken
Put the chicken in the crock pot and cover with the sauce
Add the last of the seasoning and mix well
Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours
When done cooking, take chicken out of the crock pot, and let cool for a minute or two
Take two forks, one to hold the chicken down and one to shred it
Then put the shredded chicken back in the crock pot, and leave on low to keep it warm
This should yield 7 servings, 1/2 cup each
As I said before, I got this recipe out of my HG recipe book. I am actually cooking this right now, so I will let yall know how it turns out! Let me know what you think of it :)
