Introduction

Tasty, filling protein booster. Really does taste like dreamsicle! Tasty, filling protein booster. Really does taste like dreamsicle!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1/2 cup OJ, 1/2 cup Light Soy Milk (plain), 365 (Whole Foods Brand) Whey Protein Powder (natural vanilla flavoured), & crushed ice - as much as you prefer.

For a thicker shake, freeze orange juice & soy milk (together or separate) a couple of hours before preparing. I keep a supply of small, pre-measured containers of OJ-milk mix in the freezer to mix at will. Another option: use a whole orange. Section it, freeze the sections and use in place of, or in addition to part of, OJ.

Directions

Combine all ingredients in blender or Magic Bullet. Blend till smooth, or as you like. (Magic Bullet is good for scale (size) because it easily makes small quantities.)

Pretty good, I used vanilla almond milk and added a little extra oj to get the flavor right with my protein powder. I used the ON natural vanilla brand powder. This was a good protein shake. - 7/1/10
