    2-3 pounds boneless/skinless chicken breast
    1 pound small red potatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cups baby carrots
    3 cans (14 oz) chicken broth
    2 cups Bisquick mix
    1/2 cup water


1. Place chicken, potatoes, onion and carrots in 6-quart slow cooker. Add broth.

2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 9-10 hours.

3. Increase heat setting to high. Stir together Bisquick mix and water in medium bowl. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto hot chicken mixture. Cover and cook 45-50 minutes or until dumplings are dry in the center.

    Great! I made it without the potatoes and added celery instead and increased carrots, with low sodium chicken broth. - 1/27/19

    We lowered the amount of Chicken and added green peppers, celery and more onions. I think it reduced the calories :) Great recipe - 5/25/11
