My Mom used to make this with ground beef. It's a super quick and easy comfort food that I lightened up using ground turkey. You can adjust the soy sauce and sugar to taste. Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey
    1/2 lb. green beans, cut in 2 inch lengths (can use frozen)
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/3 c. sugar


Directions

Brown the ground turkey; simmer to reduce the excess juices. Add the green beans, soy sauce and sugar. Continue to saute until the meat is getting crumbly. Serve over hot white (Japanese style preferred)) rice or brown rice. Note: Tamanishiki brand brown rice is the best!
