Ingredients

    2 slices sara lee whole wheat bread
    2 large eggs
    butter (I use country crock w/calcium & vitamins)
    salt & pepper to taste
    cookie cutter

Directions

butter both sides of bread and use cookie cuttter to cut a hole in the center of each piece. Put the eggs into a bowl and whisk together with salt & pepper to taste. Place the bread in a skillet or griddle heasted to med - low heat. Pour the eggs into the holes in the bread and cook until done. You can also toast the holes you cut out. Serves 2.

    Very Good
    I've made this quite a few times, but we've always called it Egg in a Hole. Super easy for breakast! - 7/15/07
