Introduction

I have worked hard to find an alternative to using white flour and these are my families favorite substitution, in the world of pancakes. You can use any milk you like, we just prefer the almond milk. My kids love these with a little powdered sugar. You will not even miss the butter or the syrup! Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup oats
    1.5 pkg Truvia(or 1.5 tbsp sugar)
    1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    3/4 cup almond milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tbsp. unsweetened applesauce
    1 egg
    1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions

Place all ingredients(except chocolate chips) in food processor and blend until smooth. Use 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Sprinkle on the chocolate chips. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. I set my griddle on 350*, so cooking times will vary depending on what you are using.
