Introduction

Using peach jello. A light and refreshing dessert. Serve with favorite whipped topping for a great summer dessert. You can use frozen peach slices. Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups Graham Crackers, crushed
    1/4 cup Smart Balance spread
    4 cups sliced peaches
    1 package Jello, Peach flavor
    2 Tbsp Corn Starch
    1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Combine graham cracker crumbs and margarine. Add enough water to make a just moist enough to hold together. Press in bottom of pie pan. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes or until starting to brown. Cool.

Peel and slice peaches, while preparing jello. Combine jello, 1 1/2 cups water, and corn starch. Cook until boils and begins to turn clear. Place peaches in crust and pour jello mixture over the fruit. Chill until set and serve.

Makes 8 slices. 1 slice is a serving.

    I think I would like to make this pie but I prefer regular piecrust over graham cracker crust. I think I will try it in this way but am wondering about the nutritional value change. Will try, and soon to let ya'll know how it came out. - 7/19/10

    I AM INTRIGED BY THIS RECIPE. I WILL TRY IT TODAY.
    I HAVE NOT BEEN MAKING PEACH PIE BECAUSE OF ALL THE SUGAR, BUT THIS SOUNDS INTERESTING.
