Introduction

One of my families favorite. You have to try these! One of my families favorite. You have to try these!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    In a large bowl:
    - 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
    - 1 Cup Oats
    - 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
    - 1/4 Cup Splenda
    - 2 tsp Baking Powder
    - 1 tsp Baking Soda
    - 1/2 tsp salt
    - 1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips (tastes great too if you omit these or change to raisins or nuts)

    In a small bowl:
    - 4 Ripe Bananas
    - 2 Eggs
    - 1/4 Cup Milk (I use 1%)
    - 1/4 Cup Adams Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter (can use smooth if you wish)
    - 1/3 C Unsweetened Applesauce

Directions

Combine small bowl into the large and stir until just mixed.

Fill muffin tins approx 2/3 full. Either use paper liners or spray with PAM.

Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes

Makes approx 16 regular sized muffins.

For lower calories you can omit the chocolate chips and add blueberries instead.

Use Skim milk instead of 1%

If you wish to omit the Peanut Butter drop the milk to 1/8 Cup and the Applesauce to 1/4 C instead of 1/3 Cup.

    Very Good
Very good! I left out the splenda and salt, used almond butter and all baking powder because I was out of b. soda. They need something for a little more flavor, to make up for the splenda and salt I left out. I will try cinnamon next time. Made 18 full size muffins. - 4/18/12
