Ingredients

    2 lbs green beans, ends removed and snapped into bite-sized pieces
    2 lbs red potatoes, quartered
    1-1.5 lbs ham, cut into chunks or cubes
    1 bag frozen pearl onions
    8 oz button mushrooms, sliced
    several sprigs of thyme.
    5 Chicken Broth
    salt and pepper

Directions

Put green beans, potatoes, ham, mushrooms and broth in a pot. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the thyme sprigs the leaves will fall from the stems while cooking. Bring the mixture up to a boil. Cover the pot, turn down the heat to low, and simmer for 1.5-2 hours, or until all the veggies are tender and all of the flavors have combined. Add the pearl onions to the pot. 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time.

Can cook in a crock pot too. Cook on high for 3-4 hours
