Introduction

These turned out yummy. I used two egg whites rather than a whole egg and used half 100% whole oat flour in place of wheat flour. Next time I will try to use more oat flour in ratio to wheat flour and see how they turn out. These turned out yummy. Ingredients

    2 Fresh Egg Whites
    1 Cup All Purpose Bread Flour, Enriched
    1 Cup 100% Whole Oat Flour
    1/4 Cup Smart Balance Oil
    1 1/2 Cups 1% Milk
    3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
    1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt

Directions

In medium mixing bowl beat egg whites until frothy. Add all other ingredients and mix well with whip or whisk. Pour 1/2 cup of batter into waffle iron. Mine is a Belgian iron and makes one approximately 6 1/2 inch waffle. This recipe make 8 waffles, 1 waffle per serving.
