Ingredients

    • Cobble Mill French Bread, pre sliced
    • 4.5 cloves garlic, minced
    • 16 tablespoons light margarine

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In microwave safe bowl, heat butter for 10 or so seconds until it is soft enough to mash but not runny.
  3. Mix in minced garlic.
  4. Remove bread and place on a large enough piece of aluminum foil to fold the sides up to make a bowl.
  5. Butter both sides of bread, simplest way is to scoop up mixture and press between slices before spreading.
  6. Bake for 10 or so minutes until bread is golden brown and crisp.
Makes 9 servings of 2 pieces.

    This is our favorite recipe for garlic bread. The ONLY thing that can beat this is the Kroger Deli Garlic Bread that is WAY more fattening.

    So easy to half into single serving for leftovers!
