Ingredients
-
Ronzoni Smart Taste Rotini Pasta, 7 oz (1/2 box)
Beef, top sirloin, 6 oz
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Broccoli Slaw, 6 oz
Carrots, raw, .5 cup, chopped
Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
Cauliflower, raw, 1 cup chopped
Water chestnuts, .75 cup slices
Hoisin Sauce, 3 tbsp
La Choy Lite Soy sauce, .5 tbsp
Directions
Slice the sirloin into thin slices and cut all the vegetables that need to be cut into small pieces. Meat and vegetables may be seasoned prior to cooking, I like to use garlic & onion powder, pepper and a pinch of coarse sea salt (not included in nutritional values).
Fill a 3 qt saucepan half full with water, place on high heat and bring to a boil. Add the pasta, reduce heat to low.
Heat wok on med-high heat, add half the olive oil. When oil is hot (this only takes about 15 seconds), add the beef and quickly stir in the hot oil until cooked (1-2 minutes depending on the thickness of the slices).
Move the beef up onto the sides of the wok and add the other half of the olive oil. When it is hot, add the vegetables and stir quickly to coat. Stir in the beef and allow to cook 3-5 minutes, stirring often. Add the lite soy sauce and the hoisin sauce and stir well, reduce heat to low and cover.
When pasta is fully cooked, drain and add to the wok, stir well. Makes 4 large or 6 medium sized portions (nutritional values are for 6 portions).
