Introduction

Here's a healthy alternative to the fat- and calorie-laden fast-food breakfast sandwich. At less than 300 calories, and a almost 30 grams of protein, it's a great way to start the day, and makes a great lunch, too.

Even my husband likes these, especially if I substitute liquid eggs or a real egg for the egg whites.

Ingredients

    1 Sandwich Round (Nature's Own Multi-grain)
1/2 cup of liquid egg whites
1 slice of Great Value 97% fat free baked ham lunch meat
1 slice of Provolone cheese (or any other cheese you prefer)

Directions

Cook the egg whites. I usually fry mine in an omelet pan.
While the eggs are cooking, toast the sandwich round halves.
Cut the cooked eggs into two pieces.
Place the cheese on one toasted half of the sandwich round.
Place half the cooked egg on top of the cheese.
Place the ham slice (folded in half) on top of the egg.
Place the second half of cooked egg on top of the ham.
Place the top of the sandwich round on top of the ham.
