Introduction

Ingredients

    25 large cooked shrimp, peeled
    1 C half and half
    1 C 1% reduced fat milk (or skim to make it skinnier)
    4 oz. Low fat cream cheese, softened
    1/4 C grated parmesean cheese
    garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
    whole wheat pasta for 8 servings (penne, angel hair or spaghetti work well), cooked and drained.


Directions

Cook pasta to desired consistancy by manufacturer's directions; about 2 minutes before done, add shrimp to heat through, drain all and return to pot.

While pasta is cooking, scald half and half and milk in saucepan, add softened cream cheese, salt, pepper and garlic, whisk constantly until smooth. Add parmesean. Pour over pasta and shrimp, toss to coat. Serve immediately.
