Ingredients

    8 ounces uncooked small shell pasta
    2 TBL butter
    6 green onions, chopped
    2 TBL flour
    1 C half and half
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1/2 tsp ground red pepper
    salt & pepper
    1/2 C shredded swiss cheese
    1 package (about 8 ounces) imitation crabmeat
    1 can (about 14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained & cut into bite size pieces

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 2-QT casserole. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

2. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add green onions, cook and stir about 2 minutes. Add flour, cook & stir 2 minutes. Gradually add half & half, whisking constantly until mixture begins to thicken. Whisk in mustard and red pepper, season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from heat, stir in 1/4 C cheese until melted.

3. Combine crabmeat, artichokes and pasta in prepared casserole. Add sauce mixture, stir until blended. top with remaining cheese. Bake about 40 minutes or until hot, bubbly and lightly browned.
