Ingredients

    1 Tbsp chopped walnuts
    3 dates, chopped finely
    3/4 cup water
    1/3 cup rolled oats (quick-cooking, not instant)
    1/2 cup milk

Directions

Combine nuts, chopped dates, and water in a small saucepan. Bring water to a boil. Stir in oatmeal and lower heat. Cook and stir for about 1 minute, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and cover. Let sit for about 5 minutes. Serve with milk. No sugar needed -- the dates provide sweetness.
