Ingredients

    24 mushroom caps, cleaned
    salt and pepper
    1/2 lb lean ground beef
    1 Tbsp butter
    1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp minced garlic
4 slices thin dark rye bread- left out overnight to dry
    1 c. swiss cheese

Directions

Place mushroom caps rounded side up on baking sheet and coat with non-stick spray. Flip over and spray again; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes, turning once. Cook ground beef with onions and garlic until beef is no longer pink and the onions are tender. Spin bread in food processor to create bread crumbs. Add butter, Worcestershire sauce and bread crumbs to beef. Mix well. Fill each cap with meat mixture, top with cheese and broil until cheese melts. Makes 24- 1 cap servings.
