This is one of my families favorite Sunday morning meals. This is one of my families favorite Sunday morning meals.
Number of Servings: 6


    One 16 oz loaf of Challah sliced into 12 slices
    6 large eggs - beaten well
    1/8 c of sugar
    1/4 c of 1% milk
    1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tsp Almond Extract
    2 Tbsp Canola Oil


Combine beaten eggs, milk, sugar, spices and extracts in a wide, shallow bowl. Beat well with a fork or whisk. Slize Challah into 12 slices. Heat Canola oil in large skillet, dip Challah into egg mixture and cook in heated oil until golden brown, flip and cook other side until golden brown. Drain on paper towel lined platter. Can be drizzled with real maple syrup or served with fresh fruit such as strawberries.
