Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour, stirred
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp soda
2 tsp Stevita Spoonable Stevia (optional sweetening)
1 cup water (can substitute milk)
    1/3 cup canola oil

Directions

Mix together dry ingredients. Add water and oil, mixing well. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 425 for about 20 minutes or until set and lightly brown on the bottom. Makes 8 biscuits. I sometimes add stevia to sweeten the biscuits in place of topping with honey or jam.

    Good
I did not try them with the sweetener, but they were very good with a little butter or jelly. If you normally don't like foods made from whole wheat, this might be a little too bland for you, so you might consider adding the milk or the sweetener. - 2/12/08
