This is a great easy recipe with a simple, clean flavor... my mother makes something very similar. She leaves out the paprika/Mrs. Dash (just salt and pepper), and adds broccoli and mushrooms. - 8/14/10

My husband is retired and cooks have of our meals. Yesterday (after I made 3 different recipes over the weekend) that his cooking was boring - that he didn't know how to make casseroles or anything new. This recipe will be perfect for him to try. I think I will suggest sprinkling grated cheese. - 8/12/14

I do something very similar to this but with less steps. I put the rice, lipton onion soup mix in bottom of casserole dish. Add 1/2 - 1 cup water. Put the chicken pieces on top and spread the mushroom soup over all. Same idea, but one dish. - 8/4/10
