Introduction

Ingredients

    6 cups coarsley chopped cabbage
    1 Tbsp butter
    2 medium apples, cut from the core and chopped
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 Tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 cup water
    3-4 tablespoons vinegar

Directions

Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add cabbage and apples and saute for about 5 minutes, or until tender. Sprinkle on the salt and sugar. Add the water and vinegar. Stir and cover. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot.
