Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 cups white rice(works better with long rice)
    1 cup frozen mixed veggies (or any amount u please)
    handful fresh brocolli &/or cauliflower florets
    handful frozen green peas
    1 large onion chopped
    1 large potato chopped

    Salt as per taste
    1/2 tsp indian garam masala(spices) (this adds amazing falvour to the rice)
    fresh cilantro
    1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    1tbsp cooking oil

Directions

cook the rice as set aside

- heat oil in pan/wok
- add cumin seeds and when it starts changing color (brownish) add onions and stir fry till they become golden brown
- add all the veggies and cook for 5-7 minutes
- add the garam masala powder
- add cooked rice and stir slowly for 2/3 mintues otherwise rice will break
- add salt as per taste
- garnish with cilantro
