    3.5 pound pork shoulder roast
    5 medium apples, cored & quartered
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 cup water
    salt and pepper to taste


Place apples and onion in bottom of crockpot. Trim fat off of roast and place roast on top of apples and onion. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon over top of roast. Cook on low about 8 hours until internal temp reaches 155 degrees.
