Introduction
Tastes kind of like Odwalla's Superfood drink. No added sugar. Filling and healthy. Tastes kind of like Odwalla's Superfood drink. No added sugar. Filling and healthy.Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
3/4 cup Frozen Blueberries
1 medium peach (not jumbo)
1 cup chopped spinach
3/4 cup ice
1/4 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze
Directions
Finely chop the peach (it helps the smoothie come out smoother). Add the in the ice, blueberries, spinach and finally the peaches. Pour almond breeze over it and mix until smooth. For kids or to fix a huge sweet tooth, I would add something to make it sweeter(sugar, splenda, honey, agave) because it's not as sweet as a normal Jamba Juice or your average smoothie.
Makes 2 snack servings(more than half of a tall glass, I'm not sure how many ounces), or 1 big serving.
My blender isn't the best and I had to keep on stopping and stirring it and taking out big chunks of ice(maybe crushed ice would be better here), but it did eventually turn out thick and smooth.
