    1/3 cup canola oil
    1 tsp. seasoning salt or Mrs. Dash
    3 TBS. vinegar
    3 TBS. sugar
    flavor packet from oriental Ramen noodles
    Ramen noodles, crushed
    bag of coleslaw style cabbage
    1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted in oven
    1/4 cup sunflower seeds
    chopped green onion (optional)


MIx the oil, vinegar, seasoning salt and flavor packet from Ramen Noodles for dressing. Pour over cabbage. Crush and add noodles. Let sit at least an hour in the fridge. Right before serving add toasted almonds and sunflower seeds.

    I have been looking for a lighter version of this recipe. This was very good. The only change I made was I used seasoned rice vinegar instead of plain vinegar. I will make this again. - 5/26/14
