Ingredients
-
2 cups nonfat milk
1/4 cup flour
2 MorningStar Farms Original Sausage Patties
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp salt substitute
Directions
Cook Sausage Patties according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, add milk and flour. Wisk together till well blended and lumps have dissolved. Place skillet on medium-low heat. Add mixture to skillet and wisk occasionally, till mixture just begins to bubble. Break up sausage patties into crumbles. As mixture begins to bubble, you will need to stir it more constantly. Make sure to wisk the center of the pan frequently to prevent scorching. Add salt and pepper. You may want to use a wooden spoon at this point, as mixture should be getting somewhat thick now. When it coats the back of the spoon, it is ready. Remove from heat; stir in sausage crumbles. Serve and enjoy!
