    Bad
Don't know what went wrong as I followed the recipe as it was, no changes, and it was flat and not cake like in its texture. - 7/11/11

    Good
My son requested his favorite (german chocolate cake) for his birthday dinner Saturday. I'll give this version a try -- sounds good enough to eat :-) (son was a little disappointed I was 'lightening' his birthday cake - so I gave him a jar of coconut pecan frosting to supplement - he was happy! - 2/17/10
