Introduction

Makes enough to pour over the top with a few drizzles down the sides of a tube pan pound cake. I used Paula Deen's pound cake recipe. Makes enough to pour over the top with a few drizzles down the sides of a tube pan pound cake. I used Paula Deen's pound cake recipe.

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
    5 T butter
    4 T milk
    dash salt
    1/2 t vanilla flavoring
    1/8 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

Place first 4 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a rolling boil, stirring. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat with electric mixer for 2 to 4 minutes or until beggining to thicken. Pour over cake and let some drizzle down the sides. Sprinkle nuts over the top.
