Introduction

Ingredients

    2 Cups Cauliflower, cut into small florets
    1 medium Potato, halved then thinly sliced
    1/2 large Onion, sliced
    2 tsp Ginger Root, minced finely
    2 cloves Garlic, minced finely
    1 tbsp Mustard Seed
    2 tsp Tumeric
    4 tbsp Canola Oil
    1 tsp Salt or to taste
    1 tsp black onion seed
    1 tbsp hot green chilli (peppers) or to taste, sliced finely
    3 tbsp fresh corriander/cilantro, roughly chopped

Directions

Makes 2 Servings

Heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add garlic, onions, mustard seed, black onion seed & ginger. Fry till fragrant and onions translucent.
Add tumeric & salt, Stir constantly to avoid sticking.
Add potatoes & cauliflower. Stir for 5 minutes.
Add approximately 1/3 Cup of water - add more if necessary.
Lower heat - cover and allow the vegetables to simmer till cooked, approximately 20 minutes.
Stir in chillies and corriander.
