Ingredients

1 stick unsalted butter – room temp
1 fourth of a cup light brown sugar
1 egg – lightly beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 fourth of a cup molasses
1 half of a cup of applesauce
1 to 1 and a half tsp pumpkin pie spice mix
1 half cup raisins or craisins dusted with about 1 quarter cup flour in a Ziploc
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 quarter tsp salt
1 cup wheat bran (not cereal)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 – line muffin pan
Beat butter and sugar on medium high until light and fluffy; about 3 minutes; add the egg; sour cream; molasses and apple sauce and beat on medium for approx 2 minutes
In a small bowl which dry ingredients add all at once to wet ingredients. Stir until well mixed and add raisins and flour from ziploc. Batter is thick and lumpy
Drop into muffin tins – makes 12
Bake for approx 15 – 18 minutes
I let them cool and then stick them in freezer
