Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 Low carb, whole grain flat wrap *
    3 Tbls Apple Butter
2 slices turkey breast deli meat
1/3 apple cored and thinly sliced
    1 thin sliced provolone cheese
    1/2 cup lettuce shredded
    1 thin slice of onion

*Can use a 7" low carb whole wheat tortilla. My store carries a low carb whole grain light flat wrap made specifically for creating wraps. The one I use has 16 g of carbs, 9 g of fiber and is 90 calories

Directions

Spread the apple butter all over the flat wrap. Pile the rest of the ingredients on one half of the wrap and roll.

**The best is to use a tart apple like a granny smith, however, you can use your favorite apple.

Instead of the apple butter I put a little bit of honey on the wrap. I don't really like apple butter, but it was very good with the little bit of honey. - 12/31/11

    Incredible!
Great recipe! I used a low-fat sharp cheddar instead of provolone, and that gave the sandwich a bit of a kick. - 4/5/10

This is really good! I used the light cream cheese I had instead of apple butter and added non-salted sunflower seeds. - 3/10/09

The carbs come from the apple. I think this sounds awesome...I'm going to try it for lunch next week! - 8/1/08
