Ingredients

    Apples, fresh, 4 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per l
    Granulated Sugar, 4 tsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Butter, salted, 4 tbsp
    *Pie dough, 100 gram(s)
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Brown Sugar, 1 cup, unpacked
    *imitation vanilla flavoring, 1 tsp

Directions

Core and peel apples. In center of apples put 1 tsp. Sugar, ¼ tsp cinnamon and dot of margarine.
Sauce- put some red hots in 1 ½ C cold water. Place on low heat and let them melt. Add 1 C sugar, 1C brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla. Pour over apples. Bake at 425 for 35-40 min.
