Introduction

I made this soup to have something mushy with protein when recovering from having my wisdom teeth pulled. It's flavorful and tastes great with crushed saltine crackers. Ingredients

    .5 cup dry lentils
    1 cup water
    salt to taste
    1 can of condensed cream of celery soup
    1/4 cup milk
    1 large carrot
    1/3 cup chopped onion

Directions

Sort and rinse the lentils. Add the lentils, water, and salt to a small saucepan and simmer for 30 mins.

Steam the carrots and onions until soft. This takes about 3 mins in the microwave.

Prepare the soup. Empty the soup into a small saucepan. Pour the milk into the empty can, and fill the rest of the can with water. Add to milk and water to the saucepan, and heat as directed on the can.

Put the lentils, carrots, onions, and soup into a blender. Puree until smooth.

All done! Enjoy!
