Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/4 cup butter
    2/3 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    14 ounces chicken broth
    2/3 cup water
    3 drops hot pepper sauce
    12-1/2 oz (1 large can) cooked chicken breast
    1 cup sour cream
    1 can refrigerated biscuits

Directions

Saute onion in butter until tender. Add flour and salt. Blend until smooth.

Add broth, water, and hot pepper sauce. Cook until thickened.

Add chicken and sour cream. Simmer until thoroughly heated.

Cut biscuits in half lengthwise. Place around outside edges. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are no longer doughy.

Makes 6 servings.
