Ingredients
-
Jenny O Lean Turkey Kielbasa I prefer the tast of Jenny O, but any brand will do
Sauerkraut 1 can or bag
Mushrooms, canned, 1 can
Pierogies 10 (frozen) - I used spinach pierogies
Minced Onion, 1 tsp (or to taste)
Directions
Boil a large pot of water
Add frozen pierogies
Boil until soft and remove from pot
(if you use fresh pierogies, skip the prior 2 steps)
Add frozen kielbasa to boiling water
Spray cooking spray on a frying pan and add pierogies
Once the pierogies have browned a little bit, add undrained sauerkraut.
Drain a little bit from the canned mushrooms and add to the pan.
Add minced onions. (if you use fresh onions, add them when you add the pierogies)
Cook for 5-10 minutes
The kielbasa should be done around the same time as the pierogies and sauerkraut.
This makes about 4 servings as a full meal.
