Ingredients

    8 cups apple cider
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    pinch nutmeg
    6 inches cinnamon stick
    1 tsp allspice, whole
    1 tsp cloves, whole
    1 orange, cut into eighths

Directions

In a large saucepan, combine cider, brown sugar and nutmeg. Place cinnamon, clove, and allspice in cheesecloth and tie with string. Add spice bag to cider mixture and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for another 10 to 15 minutes. Remove spice bag and discard. Serve cider in mugs with orange wedge in each.
Serve 8.
