This recipe is tagged gluten free but condensed tomato soup contains wheat flour. - 1/28/11

The soup I used didn't contain wheat flour, or you could subsitute a small can of tomato sauce

Made a double batch of this for a potluck. Followed the directions exactly, no modifications. And it scored big -- really big! Very, very, very DEE-lish! Addenda: Made another batch to freeze and store, as a gift for a bachelor friend of mine. After he tried it -- another thumbs up from him! - 12/11/09

I don't do much out of supermarket canned stuff so I'll sub homemade canned soup and homemade mashed beans. REFRIED BEANS! That's genius. I'm going to sneak this on my husband, who hates beans. Oh, and in a crockpot. You need an award. I'm pinning this, and I'll let you know how it goes at church. - 11/8/12
