Add vinegar and gingersnaps to the pan and dissolve gingersnaps, stirring well. If you browned the chops well, the sauce will be dark reddish brown. The gingersnaps will thicken the sauce. Very Good
I loved this easy one-dish meal (except for my decision to bake the ginger snaps instead of running out to the store for some), but hubby found it a little sweet for his taste. I'll make it again, but may try to make it more savory or add extra vinegar, to please his palate. - 2/21/11
