Ingredients
-
1 Large Egg
3/4 Cup Of Water
1 (18.25 ounce) Box Devil's Food Cake Mix
1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans (Optional)
1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips or other flavor (Optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease A 13 by 9 inch baking pan.
Mix egg, water and Nuts in a large bowl.
Add dry cake mix to the bowl; stir well but don't over beat. Batter should be thick and mixed enough so no 'powder' is showing. If needed add water 1 teaspoon at a time. Don't over mix!
Pour mixture into prepared pan, be sure to smooth the top evenly then place mini chips on top of batter.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes for chewy brownies; if you like them drier, bake a few minutes longer.
Take out and let cool before cutting.
